ABOUT THE JANINE COLLECTIVE
A Sandbox Full of Creativity is one way to describe the Janine Collective - a lifestyle blog & vlog with Heartbeat-Driven, Soul-Inspired, and Unapologetically Mixed&Complexed themes. Grounded by what unifies us: Gardening which embodies the Earth. Music and the Arts are how humans connect and learn to value each other's gifts, and Faith and Family is my Foundation for everything.
VOTE CIVILITY
With little under 100-plus days before one of the most important elections of my life, I launched The Janine Collective: VoteCivility2020 campaign to ask other citizens of this country to consider approaching this voting season with an eye toward a different future.

Below are a few resources that we shared at the time - some still relevant as we move into our next voting season.

Vote Civility Forever

GROWING LOVELY
Growing Food: I've enjoyed vegetable gardening for several years, but I have so much to learn. I continue to look for opportunities to "grow better" using practices that sustain nutrient-rich soil and healthier plants. I'll share what I learn from gardeners, homesteaders, and every other lover of the land. My hope is to encourage others to find the simplicity in gardening so that it becomes a lifelong hobby that is passed down through generations.
Living Wiser: Over time we gain a level of wisdom and understanding about our purpose in life. I'm growing wiser about global warming and climate change, and am taking deliberate steps to learn what I can personally do to change its trajectory.
How are you growing lovely? Write to me and let me know if you'd like to draft a short blog on this topic.
Gardens, Climate Change. You get it
CULTURE (music-books-arts-video-pictures)
Music, Art & People: The saying, “Art imitates life” is in full swing here – and becomes blended the more I write music, sing, and perform. The relationship between music/art, people, places, and social issues is prevalent today and has, of course, its history in bridging the gap of so many social ills. I'll share in this space what I create, observations of the impact and value of using these disciplines as forms of self-expression, and ask that you do the same. Write to me and let me know if you'd like to draft a short blog on this topic.
