Across the U.S., young and old are threatened with food insecurity, which means they are not aware when or where they will get their next meal. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated preexisting barriers to food access, especially those living just above the poverty line.
I am inspired by a story about TV personality Terrence J who uses his life to provide food to kids. He has partnered with Maytag to fill refrigerators at Boys and Girls Clubs in parts of the U.S. I love this concept. Read more about Terrence J’s effort to fill fridges for kids here.
